When all are busy

Throwing higher your focus,
when nowhere to go
and nothing to do.

Who makes this burden lighter,
when life screams to build
but doesn’t give a clue.

You want to make beauty,
to create, to lift, to do your eternal duty.

‘Find first your rest
in movement and shout,
Lifting upwards your hands

While saying out loud
one desire to your best.’

Worship makes your heart cling to the realm of ideas, whereafter your desires and thoughts are changed to the motive you empowered by praise.

Searching for more light

Dozens of ways in Thought
exist to reach the spot,
in what Life has wrought
an staying as in God.

Understanding, make clear your hidden mystery
though without movement you do not exist.

Life flows in circles
and change is made through will.
An unknown realm tickles
either pleasant but can kill,
or joyous and strangely familiar.

Understanding once again, allow my soul
to taste the everlasting flow.

Oh how blocked your realm can be,
when my heart is in low expectation
and hard for it to see,
what a sweet reward brings revelation
for them who dare to be.

Made this poem, when I wanted to produce some fruit, and a desire popped up in my heart to write a poem. As poetry is the description of the unseen in beauty, I wrote about my longing for more light in my life at the present moment.

The normal Christian Life

God is Good, recently I bought a book called ‘the Normal Christian Life’ by Watchman Nee. It is a nice thing to have a regular book instead of reading all books online. It gives you some kind of rest while you read the sentences put on paper, and as we all know: while at rest, doors are open for fresh revelation.

It’s not a strange idea to think that reading a regular book is healthier for the soul than reading an e-book. Your eyes are resting, and you are less distracted because you’re not connected to the internet.

This particular book (The normal Christian Life) deals with the fundamental beliefs of Christianity and explains the Blood, Cross, Walk in the Spirit, and it boosts your spiritual awareness. Watchman Nee wrote a lot of books, one of the books I really liked is ‘Spiritual Man’ in which Nee exposes the myths and truths concerning Body, Soul, and Spirit. Some other books which I still want to order, are the ‘Latent power of the Soul’ and ‘Spiritual Authority’.

I really recommend all of you to dig into his writings! Here is a link to all of the material.

Humility

Humility is seeing yourself the way God sees you and saying about yourself what He says about you, because only then are you submitting to authority. When you humble yourself, bow your knee to your king and His authority over you – you won’t insist on saying things how YOU see them or saying how you think things are if that is different from what He says. To refuse to say good things about yourself – who you are in Christ – that you have been given authority is actually pride and/or rebellion. You either think you know better (pride) or you know God’s Word is true but simply refuse to do it (rebellion).

The layout may look a bit simple but the content couldn’t stop reading the articles about grace, repentance, glory, Christ in us, voice of the Lord and more, much more! I really advice to all who have time to read some very good articles to take a look here! Good searching! 🙂
